This dish from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh (Central India) is offered to Indra, mainly when there is less rainfall, and you are trying to please the God of rain. 
 
It’s a savoury steamed cake made of 5 different lentils and can be served in many ways. Fried gently and served with our much-loved green chutney, it becomes a fantastic snack, but we are d it as a vegan curry for our heat-at-home collection.
