A thoran is a kind of dry dish usually made with vegetables and coconut in Hindu households in Kerala but this variant, made with minced mutton, is a speciality made by Syrian Christians from that region.
It has more spices than are typically used in a vegetable thoran, but is less spiced than many typical meat dishes. It goes beautifully with our breads.
Ingredients - mutton, onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic, tomatoes, fresh coconut, red chilli, turmeric, coriander, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, sunflower oil, salt.
